TEAM MEMBER

William J Verdeur is a substitute teacher at Murch Elementary. This year, he has primarily worked assisting a special needs K-2 classroom. He is also a part-time graduate student at Georgetown, studying journalism. Before moving to DC, Verdeur worked as a high school English teacher in the Philadelphia area, where he was born and raised. He is fluent in Italian, proficient in Spanish, and can read and translate Latin and Ancient Greek. During the summer months, Verdeur works as a seasonal wildland firefighter.
