Chloe Amore Kaplan
Chloe Kaplan is an educator, entrepreneur, and proud DC native who believes children thrive when learning feels both joyful and deeply personal. A Sidwell Friends alumna, Chloe earned her B.A. in Child Development from Tufts University and her M.A. in Early Childhood Education from NYU before beginning her career as a classroom teacher.
As the founder of Amore Learning, Chloe has spent the past decade building the kind of education company she wished existed for families: warm, high-touch, creative, and exceptionally thoughtful. She brings more than 20 years of experience working with children, parents, schools, and educators—and a real appreciation for the fact that every child and every family is different.
Chloe is known for pairing big ideas with get-it-done energy, whether she is matching a student with the right tutor, designing a new program, or helping a family navigate a tricky moment. Above all, she loves helping children feel capable, curious, and excited about what comes next.
In addition to running Amore, Chloe is a regular media contributor on local DC stations including Fox5, ABC7, and DC News Now, covering education and parenting topics.
A fourth-generation Washingtonian, Chloe lives in Spring Valley with her husband, son, and dog.
