Chloe Amore Kaplan
Chloe holds a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from NYU and a Bachelor's in Child Development from Tufts University. A former Kindergarten teacher, she has spent her career building educational programs that go beyond the traditional school day.
Chloe's passion for education started early. As a student at Sidwell Friends School, she began developing ideas for extracurricular programming, and went on to become a College of Citizenship and Public Service Scholar at Tufts, where she created tutoring and mentoring programs in the Boston area.
After Tufts, Chloe returned to DC to teach at Horace Mann Elementary School, then headed to NYU for her Master's, teaching at public schools across New York City along the way. She came back to Horace Mann to teach Kindergarten for several years before launching Amore Learning in 2016 to bring a love of learning to children and families in creative, unexpected ways.
In addition to running Amore, Chloe is a regular media contributor on local DC stations including Fox5, ABC7, and DC News Now, covering education and parenting topics.
A fourth-generation Washingtonian, Chloe lives in Spring Valley with her husband, son, and dog.
