Teresa “Ms. T” Adams has been a beloved educator in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, DC since 2012. A proud graduate of Eastern High School, where she ranked 12th in her class of 210, Ms. Adams pursued further studies at John A. Logan College, Prince George’s Community College in Largo, MD, and Gallaudet University, where she took ASL courses as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults).

With over 29 years of teaching experience in DC Public Schools, Ms. Adams is passionate about nurturing and inspiring children. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom—she is devoted to her family, which includes nine children (three biological, three adopted, two foster, and one stepdaughter), as well as her three rescue dogs: two French Bulldogs and one English Bulldog. Known for her warm hugs, infectious laughter, and compassionate heart, Ms. Adams also cares for stray animals, nursing and rehoming them whenever possible.
