TEAM MEMBER

Tawny Locke has been part of the Amore Learning team since August 2024 and specializes in executive functioning, language and literacy support, and strengthening students’ reasoning and problem-solving skills across reading, writing, and math.

With more than 12 years of experience in educational speech-language pathology, Tawny brings a deep understanding of how language, attention, executive functioning, and fluid reasoning influence learning. She has extensive experience supporting neurodiverse learners, is trained in Orton-Gillingham reading instruction, and enjoys helping students develop strong literacy and math skills through individualized, evidence-based instruction.

Known for her collaborative spirit and student-first approach, Tawny partners closely with families and educators to create engaging, supportive learning experiences. She believes that meaningful progress happens when students feel understood, capable, and excited to learn. Her greatest joy is helping each student discover their strengths and experience the confidence that comes from learning in a way that works for them.
