Starr Foster received her first tennis racket from the late, great Arthur Ashe when she was four years old, and has had a passion for the game ever since. She teaches kids how to crush it on the courts and the importance of being a true "Starr Player" through a curriculum developed in honor of Ashe that combines on-court tennis skills and drills with court-side journaling and conversations about bravery, sportsmanship, respect, and kindness. 

Starr is also the co-founder of StarrMark Academy. She and the StarrMark Tennis Academy team create a fun and supportive environment where kids can learn the basics of tennis and feel proud of their progress. In partnership with Amore Learning, they add a new dimension by taking what kids learn in the classroom to learning on the courts.
