TEAM MEMBER

Sarah Melcher brings more than 35 years of experience as an educator, learning specialist, writing and academic coach, education consultant, writer, and editor. She began her career teaching language arts, literature, and writing at the Chapin School and the Nightingale-Bamford School in Manhattan. Sarah holds a B.A. in English from Duke University and an M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University.

Sarah supports students in reading comprehension, critical thinking, writing, study skills, and executive functioning. She specializes in helping students strengthen time management, planning, organization, note-taking, and the ability to integrate new knowledge, as well as supporting learners with specific academic challenges. Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys walking in nature, music, photography, art, travel, and journaling.
