Nevine Karass is originally from Egypt and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English. She currently teaches Pre-K in a DCPS classroom and brings a background in digital media, editorial leadership, and storytelling. A native Arabic speaker, Nevine is passionate about introducing students to Arabic language and culture through stories, conversation, art, and creative activities. She strives to create an engaging and encouraging environment where children feel curious, confident, and excited to learn.

In her free time, Nevine enjoys cooking Egyptian and Middle Eastern dishes, reading, discovering new coffee shops, exploring Washington, D.C., and taking walks with her dog, Caia.
