Maura Barry is the Maryland Program Coordinator at Amore Learning and a dedicated educator with over 13 years of classroom experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Miami University and holds an ESOL certificate. Maura is currently pursuing her Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist at Bowie State University.

Maura specializes in early childhood education and literacy, with a strong focus on creating individualized, student-centered learning experiences. She is trained in evidence-based reading interventions, including UFLI, Fundations, and Wilson, and has extensive professional development in the science of reading. Maura has worked with students from Pre-K through 6th grade, supporting growth in reading, writing, math, and English language development.

Outside of her work in education, Maura enjoys spending time with her husband, her young children, and their golden retriever, Sonny.
