Lizzie Pichowicz is a dynamic special education teacher who makes learning accessible, fresh, and inspiring for her students. With over 300 hours of training in Orton-Gillingham and The Science of Reading, she blends research-based methodology with students’ individual needs and interests to create engaging, customized instruction.

Lizzie completed her M.Ed in Reading & Dyslexia Education at the University of Florida, where she was honored as a Fien Reading Fellow. She earned her B.S. in Elementary & Middle Special Education from the University of Maryland, where she taught at The Center for Young Children.

Currently, Lizzie serves as a full-time Learning Disabilities Teacher and Reading Interventionist in Falls Church, VA. Known for cultivating “all the good vibes” with her learners and their families, she also shares her passion for teaching and literacy on Instagram @the.good.vibes.teacher.
