TEAM MEMBER

Emily Gilson is a professional actor, performing arts educator, and longtime DC-area teaching artist. She holds a B.A. in Drama Studies and Medieval History from SUNY Purchase and has performed at the Kennedy Center, Source Theatre, Adventure Theatre, Avant Bard, and the Maryland Renaissance Festival, as well as on Netflix and Apple TV. She also leads costumed history and ghost tours as a local tour guide in Alexandria.

Emily has taught with Adventure Theatre, Creative Cauldron, and Levine Music and currently serves as the Lower School Drama Teacher at Berman Hebrew Academy. She also brings more than a decade of experience working in DC Public Schools. A DC native, Emily enjoys cooking, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her rescue cat, Lucy.
