About Colleen Bozzi
Colleen Bozzi develops young athletes on the field and at the table. A Maryland/DC-based private soccer coach with 15 years of experience and a USSF Grassroots Coaching License, she is also a professional chef and nutritionist. That combination gives her an unusually complete view of player development. Skill, confidence, and energy are built together, and what a player eats shapes how they train, recover, and compete.
On The Field
Colleen works with players of all ages and abilities, specializing in technical development, ball mastery, and confidence. Her sessions blend technical training, small-sided games, and age- appropriate play to sharpen fundamentals alongside decision-making, positioning, and game sense. Each one is tailored to the player's level and goals, in an environment where mistakes are part of learning and players are encouraged to stretch.
She has coached players from Pre-K through high school with local travel clubs, private schools, and youth development programs, and has led after-school programs including those with the Real Madrid Foundation.
In The Kitchen
Colleen holds a B.S. in Culinary Arts Management and a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, is SERVSAFE certified, and has nearly a decade of experience teaching cooking and nutrition to children, families, adults, and professional groups. For athletes, that means practical guidance on fueling for practices and game days, recovering well, and building habits that outlast the season. For families, it means real kitchen skills and a healthy relationship with food.
Her Approach
Whether she is teaching a first touch or a first recipe, Colleen's method is the same: break it down, build confidence, and make it fun. The goal is players who are skilled, well-fueled, and genuinely love the game.
