Chloe Amore Kaplan is a fourth-generation Washingtonian, educator, entrepreneur, media contributor, and consultant with two decades of experience in education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education from NYU and a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Tufts University.

Chloe’s work in education began long before founding Amore. While attending Sidwell Friends School, she began developing ideas for after-school programming and later created tutoring and mentoring programs in the Boston area as a University College of Citizenship and Public Service Scholar at Tufts. After graduating, Chloe became a teacher at Horace Mann Elementary School in Washington, DC, where she later returned to teach Kindergarten after earning her Master’s from NYU and teaching in public schools across New York City.

In 2016, Chloe launched Amore Learning to bring creative, high-quality educational experiences to children and families throughout the DC area. Under Chloe’s leadership, Amore has grown into a multi-branch education company offering tutoring, enrichment, camps, educational consulting, and community-based programming.

In addition to her work with Amore, Chloe is a regular media contributor on local television, where she shares practical, modern guidance for families. She also consults with founders, families, and organizations on education, entrepreneurship, programming, and community impact.

Across all of her work, Chloe is known for building thoughtful experiences that help children, families, and communities feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow their love of learning.
