Callie Schmidt believes that students can learn from each other through student-centered active teaching and problem solving. This allows students to develop perseverance, confidence, and broader articulation skills.

Callie is in her third year of teaching fourth grade after teaching one year of second grade. She has a strong passion for math education and is currently working on her masters in grades 4-9 math. In her free time, she enjoys reading.
