Bita is a bilingual speech-language pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about educating and empowering children to be able to communicate in ways that are accessible and appropriate for them. She also enjoys working with caregivers in supporting their children’s communication needs and has experience in working with bilingual/bicultural families.

Bita has her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences and spent nearly a decade as a professor and clinical educator. Additionally, she has worked as an SLP in early childhood education, elementary schools, and high schools.

Bita loves spending time outdoors and with her children, spouse, and dog. She loves playing the piano, reading, having long conversations (she is an SLP, after all!), and going on walks through Rock Creek Park with family and friends.
