TEAM MEMBER

Andrew Hwang is studying American University double-majoring in Data Science and Political Science, with a minor in Mathematics. With a strong foundation in math, statistics, and analytical thinking, Andrew enjoys helping students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and truly understand challenging concepts. He brings a patient, structured approach to tutoring and tailors his explanations to each student’s learning style. Andrew has been described by his Amore students as "super cool" because he relates to his students in a way that motivates and inspires them to do their best work.

At AU, Andrew is an active member of the Collegiate Model United Nations team and the Taekwondo team, and previously served as president of the Taekwondo Club, experiences that have strengthened his leadership, discipline, and communication skills—qualities he brings into every tutoring session.
