Abby Maslin is an award-winning educator, author, speaker, and educational leader with more than 15 years of experience in public education and youth development. A multi-year recipient of DC Public Schools’ Highly Effective Teacher distinction, Abby is known for creating dynamic, relationship-centered learning experiences that help students grow in confidence, creativity, and academic skill.

Her expertise lies in literacy instruction, writing development, and curriculum design, and she is widely sought after as a writing tutor and coach for students and families seeking individualized, high-impact support. As both a classroom educator and leader at Amore Learning, Abby believes deeply in empowering young people to become active participants in their own learning while honoring their strengths, identities, and curiosities.

In addition to her work in education, Abby is a recognized author and public speaker whose writing and advocacy have reached audiences nationwide. Her multidisciplinary background informs her holistic approach to teaching, mentorship, and child development.
