Service Description
STEAM Explorers is a hands-on program where students dive into Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Each week, children explore a scientific concept or engineering challenge and bring it to life through creative projects and art-making. From building structures and experimenting with simple machines to designing colorful experiments and art pieces, students develop curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration skills—all while having fun. STEAM Explorers combines discovery, creativity, and learning. The cost of this course includes a $35 per student fee charged by DCPS to use classroom space for the semester. It also includes materials (and heaps of fun!).
