Service Description
Back for another summer, Literacy Boot Camp helps rising PreK–1st graders build the foundational skills they need to become confident readers and writers. Through playful, differentiated instruction, children will practice rhyming, blending and segmenting sounds, letter recognition and formation, letter-sound connections, early decoding and spelling, vocabulary, story comprehension, and expressing ideas through drawing and beginning writing. Interactive games, read-alouds, art, movement, and hands-on activities make literacy come alive, while individualized support meets each child at their developmental level.
