Service Description
Move over Coco, Gianni, Stella, and Ralph — there are new fashion designers in town! In this creative and confidence-boosting course taught by Murch teacher Shereth Gilson, students will bring their unique style to life as they design their very own fashion line. Each student will name their brand, create a logo, explore iconic designers and signature styles, and learn from real fashion experts while developing their own look books. Along the way, they’ll dream up ad campaigns and even design meaningful charity collaborations. Join us for a celebration of fashion, creativity, and friendship. The course concludes with a final Fashion Show, where families are invited to the classroom to see each designer’s vision take the runway! The cost of this course includes a $35 per student fee charged by DCPS to use classroom space for the semester. It also includes materials (and heaps of fun!).
