Is your little one always asking, “Why?” or “How does this work?” Then Curious Minds Lab is the perfect place for them to explore, experiment, and discover! In this playful, hands-on science class, young learners will investigate the wonders of the world through age-appropriate experiments and sensory activities. From mixing colors and building simple ramps to exploring what sinks or floats, each session introduces early STEM concepts in a fun, accessible way. With plenty of opportunities to observe, predict, and get a little messy, children will build curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning—one exciting discovery at a time!Do you have a child inclined to ask, “How does this work?” or simply, “Why?” If so, Curious Minds Lab is right up their alley! This fun, hands-on science program is designed for curious little learners. Through engaging experiments based on BIG questions, kids will explore basic science concepts like mixing colors, building ramps, and discovering how things float or sink. Each session encourages creativity and problem-solving while sparking excitement about the world around them. With easy-to-follow activities, young children will feel like real scientists as they learn and play! The cost of this course includes a $35 per student fee charged by DCPS to use classroom space for the semester. It also includes materials (and heaps of fun!).
