Service Description
Does your child love figuring out how things work? Curious Minds Lab is a hands-on science class designed for young thinkers who enjoy asking questions, testing ideas, and making discoveries. Students will explore core STEM concepts through engaging experiments and engineering challenges—such as designing ramps, testing sinking and floating, and experimenting with color and motion. Each session encourages students to observe closely, make predictions, and draw conclusions, building both scientific thinking skills and confidence. With an emphasis on curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving, Curious Minds Lab helps students strengthen their critical thinking while having fun exploring the world around them. The cost of this course includes a $35 per student fee charged by DCPS to use classroom space for the semester. It also includes materials (and heaps of fun!).
