Research is showing that the public health, psychological, and economic impacts of COVID-19 are affecting low-income families of color at especially high rates. With in-person schooling closed for many DC children, academic success now depends on internet access and the presence of adults to facilitate online learning. This is a serious challenge for low-income households, especially when parents must be out of the house to work. The Amore 4 All Fund helps us to provide teachers from our team to work with students who need our services most.
