How does a child become a life-long reader? What can parents do to foster pre-literacy and early literacy skills? When and how should children be learning to read? Parents of young children often find these questions very stressful, but they don’t have to be! Join early literacy expert Lynn Klaiman (former Georgetown Day School Learning Specialist) for a practical and reassuring discussion about how to support your child on their journey towards a lifelong love of reading. In person @ 9:30am at Amore HQ By zoom @ 12pm (zoom link will be sent to those who select this option) Both options include a free 15 minute individual consultation with Lynn which you may schedule following the event About Lynn: After 30 years in education in NYC and DC schools such as Dalton, Sidwell Friends and Georgetown Day School, Lynn has an extensive background supporting students and families.
